April 13th -17th is severe weather awareness week in Minnesota!
Each day covers a different topic:
Monday, April 13th - Alerts and Warnings
Tuesday, April 14th - Severe Weather, Lightning and Hail
Wednesday, April 15th - Floods
Thursday, April 16 Tornado Drill at 1:45 p.m. and 6:45 p.m. Outdoor warning sirens will sound in a simulated tornado warning. The first drill is intended for institutions and businesses. The evening drill is intended for second shift workers and families.
Friday, April 17th - Extreme Heat
