Ordinances
An ordinance is an amendment, deletion, or addition to the Ham Lake City Code.
The first City Code was adopted April 6, 1981, by Ordinance No. 48.
In 1990, the City Council adopted a new City Code, pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Chapter 412.91 (Subd. 5) and 415.021, with Ordinance No. 90-10.
Ordinance No. 90-10 states:
"Any ordinance enacted subsequent to the date of publication of this ordinance shall be, upon its publication, appended to the City Code as an addendum. By January 31 of each year, all ordinances enacted prior to December 31 of the previous calendar year shall be codified and inserted in the text of the code.”
