Community Connect Event October 22, 2025 - Resources for unhoused individuals
Anoka County is partnering with ACCAP to host a Community Connect Event 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 22, at the Church of St. Timothy, 707 89th Ave. NE Blaine. The purpose of this event is to connect community members, residents and professionals with Anoka County and community resources.
This year’s focus will be on housing and resources for unhoused individuals. There will be vendors with information on children’s services, food shelves, legal services, medical, mental health, shelters, and more.
Most of the event will consist of vendor tables with resources — attendees can ask questions and gather information to best fit their needs. There will also be a Housing 101 seminar focused on people looking to rent, review of housing types, and information on what to have prepared when looking for housing.
Free haircuts will be available during the event while time permits. Attendees will be provided food and beverages. There will be other giveaways that attendees will be able to take with them.
