Scam Alert!

Some area residents have been receiving scam calls in which the caller identifies themselves as an appraiser from Anoka County’s Property Records and Taxation Division, and the caller requests residents sign paperwork before the appraisal takes place.

Please note: Anoka County assessors DO NOT call residents before conducting appraisals.

The City of Ham Lake uses contracted assessors that do not call or send letters. We will publish an article in the Ham Laker showing the map of the area that is due for the 5 year quintile review. You can also call City Hall to verify if our assessor is out in your area 763-434-9555.

Anyone who has been targeted by this scam should call the Anoka County Sheriff’s Office to report it. 763-427-1212
